What Mikey Is

Mikey is Josh Baer's personal AI assistant. It is not a commercial product, not available for public sign-up, and not offered as a service to third parties. It exists solely to help Josh manage his calendar, email, contacts, and group chat communications.

Who Can Use Mikey

Only people Josh has personally added to group chats where Mikey is present. There is no self-service access. If you're interacting with Mikey, it's because Josh invited you to a conversation that includes it.

Data Collected and Processed

Mikey processes the following data on Josh's behalf:

• Group chat messages — When Mikey is mentioned or addressed in a group chat, it reads the message to generate a response.
• Google Calendar — Mikey reads Josh's calendar to provide scheduling information and meeting prep.
• Gmail — Mikey triages Josh's starred emails and monitors for bounces.
• Apple Contacts — Mikey accesses Josh's contact database for relationship context.
• Relationship Radar — Mikey looks up interaction history (messages, meetings) to provide context about people Josh knows.

Data Storage and Retention

• Messages are processed in real-time by Cloudflare Workers. No messages are permanently stored by Mikey.
• Relationship lookups are cached for 30 minutes in Cloudflare KV, then automatically expire.
• Mikey maintains operational state (e.g., which emails have been triaged, last sync timestamps) in Cloudflare KV. This does not include message content.

Third-Party Services

Mikey relies on the following third-party services to function:

• Anthropic (Claude) — AI model used to understand messages and generate responses.
• Cloudflare Workers — Hosting and execution environment.
• Google APIs — Calendar, Gmail, and Contacts access.
• Supabase — Contact registry and relationship data storage.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data that passes through their infrastructure.

No Commercial Use

Mikey is a personal tool. No data processed by Mikey is sold, shared for advertising, used to train AI models, or provided to any third party for commercial purposes.
